Captain Marc Hauser grew up on the south shore of Massachusetts, the grandson of John Briggs Paulding, a salty in-shore lobster man running his day boat out of Green Habah daily to pull his pots and bring home the bacon. Marc would follow Grampa down to the bait shack and hold his nose every morning and watch as barrels of ripe flounder racks where pitchforked into buckets for the days bait.
Before long he was steering the boat from one string of pots to the another.
Those early experiences carried on into Commercial Salmon fishing in in Alaska, running boats North out of Seattle into the inland waters of Southeast Alaska and back down through British Columbia and Pugent Sound.
Cape Cod has a certain magic and is was not long before it pulled Marc back home to captain his own boat and build a business in 3Play Charters.
